WThis is a home-style take on a cocktail featured on the seasonal drinks list. It's a large-volume prepared mix that is packed full of essence of the Christmas time, which makes it ideal for your holiday party. Save the extra syrup for breakfast cocktails, sweets, or to make more rounds of the drink.

Serves 10 servings
For the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
For the Drink (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
Making the Cordial: Place every components into a saucepan, bring to a simmer, agitating to dissolve. Next, turn off the heat and leave to reach room temperature completely. Decant into a clean bottle, cap it and refrigerate it chilled, it will last for up to a month.
To make Batch Mix: Mix every liquid ingredients in a large bottle, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then pass it through , ideally through a fine cloth, to ensure it's completely strained.
When ready to serve: Measure 85ml from the cocktail base to a stirring glass packed with ice, and stir carefully for about 60 seconds until cold. Pour to a frosted cocktail glass or similar, top with a few cranberries and complete it with a brief mist of mandarin oil over the top.
